It was a pleasure working with Interlock from beginning to end. The back office was good about setting expectations for job start and duration, delivery of materials (which happened on time) and work to be performed. They were also good about making adjustments to work with trim that needed to be replaced, etc. The crew that did the install and cleanup was very professional and hard working. I am extremely satisfied with the end result and would definitely recommend Interlock! This is actually my second roof, I had one installed on a different property 20 years ago and it has held the test of time with virtually no maintenance.

I just wanted to take a moment to commend Interlock on a great product and thank you personally for your follow through after installation. I am pleased with the roof overall because it’s good looking and works well. I get compliments about the new roof frequently. The description you provided of what to expect from beginning to end and what was delivered was consistent. This is such a simple thing to do but a surprising number of companies simply don’t execute on their promises so I was pleased with the end result Interlock provided.
The crew that removed my old roof and installed the new one was courteous and professional. They did a good job of cleaning up the job site each day and obviously take pride in their work.
The only thing I would say was a drawback is that I had filled out the customer satisfaction survey before the dumpster was removed from my front yard. After the dumpster was removed I discovered two long indentations on my front lawn over a foot deep caused by the weight of the fully loaded dumpster. When I called you about it, you said you would correct it and now it has been corrected. This sort of customer service is what really separates companies that are in it for the long haul. I appreciate your follow up and the fact that you were able to correct the only item where I was not completely satisfied.
I recommend Interlock to anyone considering a roof replacement based on the merits of the product alone. I had done a good amount of research in Consumer Reports on the longevity of different roof types as you know so there was no question in my mind that I wanted a metal roof but I didn’t know how nice the end result would turn out. Your product combined with outstanding customer service is an unmatched offering. Consider me a reference for other potential customers curious about the experience they had with Interlock

The snow does not stay on the roof

I had my roof done by Interlock Roofing and I want to say that it is very good. The snow does not stay on the roof. This winter I look at other homes in my neighborhood and found that my roof was the first to be free of snow! I am happy about that.

Just wanted to let you know that we are very satisfied with the aluminum interlocking roof which was installed in July of 2005. It was amazing to us how quickly and efficiently your men worked in removing our old asphalt layers of roof and installing the new one. Needless to say, we were very impressed with their work as well as our new roof!
Unfortunately, during installation of the roof, damage was done to the interior ceiling of our dining room. Interlock did respond and the damaged area was repaired in a timely manner. Unfortunately our existing ceilings are plaster and the repaired area was done in wallboard which simply do not match. In order for this to be repaired properly, the entire ceiling has to be repainted with a light texture. Whatever you can do to help rectify the pending repair to the interior ceiling would be greatly appreciated.
We look forward to speaking with you in the near future. Once again, thank you for offering us the opportunity to upgrade our home with an outstanding roof.

Just a note about the roof we installed in March of 2003. The first thing that we have to say is that the roof looks wonderful; it’s the best one on the street. A neighbor two houses down the street had a new asphalt roof installed shortly after we had our Interlock Roof installed. The neighbor across the street remarked that our roof looked a lot better than the neighbor’s. We have had quite a few neighbors stop and ask about the roof and remark how good it looks. Having the chimney flashed with a solid flashing (instead of step flashing) and the ducts matching the roof really makes the roof look finished off. Also, having them put vents on the back which match the roof looks finished off, so they are not noticeable.
As far as the workmen and the quality of workmanship, we feel that it was done very professionally. We asked that they not start working until 8:00 am, and they waited until 8:30 am to start. They kept the grounds very clean even when they were stripping the roof. They hung tarps so nothing could or would damage either the house or any plants which are around the house. They were very friendly and courteous.
In closing, we are very pleased with the roof and the professionalism of the workers.

After many years of having my roof repaired or replaced, I decided to call Interlock Industries, Inc. since I had miraculously just received an advertisement in my mail. After Paul Forrer came to my house in July and explained the procedure, etc, I was ready to hire the company.
In October, the dumpster and shingles arrived. I was excited. Two men came at the end of October and have diligently worked almost everyday for two weeks. They are precise, neat, and knowledgeable. I am impressed with their work.

Upon looking at our roof with several consultations from local roofing companies, the consensus was that we had only one to two years left on a roof that was only nine years old. The shingles that were installed on our home were prey to the era of bad shingles that have been installed on several homes across our development. I was not aware that your gentlemen had a speech and hearing disability that took me for a short surprise. There were no difficulties in communications at all. I will add that these guys were the best and when I plan to add on to our home, I would like to have this crew do the roof for the future addition. The roof looks wonderful, and when the job was finished, I was never able to tell that the crew was ever here. They left our property spotless and clean.

We recently had a metal shingle roof installed by Interlock Roofing from Waltham, MA. The company coordinated the delivery of materials and dumpster pick-up. The work crew treated our home and belongings with consideration and respect. I happened to come home while one gentleman cleared the furniture and plants (there were many) from the deck. He moved our tomato plants one at a time as though they were very valuable to him.
They worked very hard at our home for four days, two of which were twelve-hour days for them. This was the direct result of the work ethic of Baha, the crew chief. He was fabulous. They worked Saturday and Sunday, which happened to be Father’s Day, in the rain to finish our roof in the time frame they initially told us. He checked in with us frequently for feedback, and we developed quite a rapport. He is a master craftsman. There is no other way to describe the quality of his work. He was concerned that every shingle is the best. He hand-shaped many of them, and it shows. He improved the original plan for the placement of snow guards. The roof is extremely well done, and we are proud of it and the people who did it.
We expected our yard to be a mess when the roof was finished. There was no mess. None of our perennials were damaged, and we have several next to the house. One man used a magnet to pick up the nails on the ground from removing the old roof. Baha even had one of his men push the materials in the dumpster down so that it would look as nice as possible for the twelve hours it sat full in our yard.
